99.9% of the time, if one player buys, you should all buy. In that case, it is best to save the money and have a competitive buy next round.Īlso, it is of utmost importance to coordinate buys with your teammates. Sometimes, you and your team won't have enough money to buy any weapons. When it comes to managing the economy in a Valorant match, you always want to plan ahead. It ensures your team won't get too ahead and encourages you to share the money with your team. You start the game with 800 Creds, so you can only afford pistols in a "Pistol Round." The maximum amount of Creds you can accumulate is 9000, and you won't keep anything over that limit. However, you get only 1000 Creds, so it is usually worth dying to the spike(enemy team won't get money for it) unless you can save a more expensive weapon such as Operator, Vandal, or Phantom. If you lose but survive the round, you save your weapon.

If you win, you get more than if you lose. The amount of Creds you will get each round depends on your performance in the past round. It dictates how you and your team can buy weapons and abilities to maximize your chances of winning the round and the game. What facilitates all those things is actually getting weapons and utility so you can play out the round.Ī key aspect of Valorant is the economy. Those things play an essential role in a tactical FPS such as Valorant. Once the initial AP boost is given, you will earn AP normally as detailed above.Precise gunplay, strategy, utility lineups, setups, executes, etc. This means you could be anywhere from Account Level 1 to 100 (or more) depending on how many games of VALORANT you’ve played at this point.
#Valorant spent money Patch
In order to respect time already invested into VALORANT, on the day of the Patch 3.0, you will receive an amount of AP based on how many matches you’ve played in the past. As your account levels up, so does your account level border. Your account level goes up with every 5,000 AP you earn.

Account leveling is our way to recognize and reward. However, we lack ways to tangibly reward you based on your loyalty and time invested in the game, and not just Competitive play. In VALORANT, we have many ways to reward those of you who play from an hour a day to all day. The team will continue to investigate more ways to make the system even better, and we’ll keep you posted when we have more to say. Since launch, we’ve looked at various ways to improve our progression system and Account Leveling is the first opportunity we jumped on for a number of reasons. Episode 3 will add a new way to recognize and reward you for your time playing in all VALORANT game modes-even retroactively! Your account Player Card will now display a numeric level based on how much you play, that goes up the more time you put in.
